Kristie Ondracek – Vice President

Kristie is a connector of people. She enjoys bringing like-minded individuals together and increasing the virtual rolodexes of each person she meets. In her current role as CFO/COO at TXCPA Houston, she has been given the opportunity to bring CPAs and other professionals together and build lasting relationships.

While Kristie enjoys connecting people with one another, she has a deep level of appreciation for numbers and followed her dreams to becoming a certified public accountant. She is a life-long learner and is not done putting letters behind her name.

Kristie is still growing as a leader and enjoys helping others with their own leadership journey. She has been called a unicorn of CPAs as she does think differently, but it is her energy and presence that she hopes she is remembered for. In the past two years, she has been recognized for her leadership; most recently as Women Who Mean Business award by the Houston Business Journal. She is a LeadHERship Advisor in LeadHERship Global and C-Suite, where she is surrounded by supporting women who empower her and trusts her to empower them.

Kristie currently serves as a director on the FEI Houston Board, vice-president of AFWA-Houston chapter, and a committee member for various organizations. She is a national speaker and an Amazon best-selling contributing author of the book “The Great LeadHERshipAwakening.” Kristie is the host of the podcast Virtual Rolodex which she has the privilege of interviewing individuals that all should have in their own virtual rolodex.

Kristie grew up in Nebraska and still supports the Nebraska Cornhuskers and has deep roots as a Midwesterner. She currently lives in Houston, Texas but believes that she ends up where she is needed at the right time. In her free time, Kristie enjoys being creative with designing and creating handmade cards and scrapbooks, being a caregiver to a special needs adult, a loving partner, and a dog mom to their two spoiled dogs.
