Huandong “Mary” Faris, CPA, MBA
Mary Faris is a Texas CPA with over 20 years of experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy in a variety of industries. Mary has an MBA in Management, a BBA in Accounting and an Associate Degree in International Business. Mary is the Chief Financial Officer for Grocery Services, Inc.
Mary served as Senior Financial Accountant at Houston Methodist Corporate Finance from 2015 to 2018. Before that, from 2004 to 2015, Mary served as CFO for Hearing Aid Express, Inc. Mary worked in China for 5 years.
Beside FHPW, Mary has been member of TXCPA Houston since 2008 and served on both CFO/Controller Conference and Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She has been an active member of Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) Houston Chapter since 2004 and serves as its CPE director. She is the Chair of UHAA Ft. Bend Chapter Scholarship Committee. She is also member of Women’s Finance Exchange Houston.
Mary is the recipient of 2022 Women Who Count Industry Professional National Award by AFWA. Mary is the of 2018 Women of Excellence Award by FHPW.
Mary loves traveling, cooking, and she does Zumba dance and yoga to relax.
