Federation of Houston Professional Women
FHPW unites women from diverse member organizations to enrich relationships and expand leadership, partnership, and educational opportunities.
An extension of business women's current member organizations, FHPW provides stewardship, mentorship, and partnerships in the Greater Houston and surrounding communities to connect and transform the networking experience by recognizing women of excellence and building pathways to help members achieve their aspirations.
Through its Endowment Fund the Federation has provided over $67,000 in educational scholarships at the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. It is this giving back that helps to ensure there will be a next generation of Houston professional women.
FHPW Educational Foundation
The FHPW Educational Foundation awards scholarships and gifts to aid and advance the education and knowledge of women in the community.
The Foundation has given in excess of $600,000 in scholarships and educational grants to women in the greater Houston Area.

EF Scholarship Application (opens in new tab)
The Annual Scholarship Application process is now closed for the 2026 Scholarships. Texas women attending a Texas college or university are encouraged to apply for 2027 late in 2026 when the application opens again. For now, you can view requirements.
Women of Excellence Gala
FHPW hosts an annual Women of Excellence Awards Gala honoring a woman from each member organization, and the Educational Foundation presents it's scholarship award winners. 2025 Gala was held September 20th. Photos coming soon!
FHPW HCC Scholarship Endowment (opens in new tab)
Since making an initial donation of $10,000 for an endowment fund for a Houston Community College Scholarship through the HCC Foundation, funding continues and we need your help to reach the goal of an additional $15,000. It will provide a scholarship to a woman at HCC on behalf of the Federation. Go here for more information and link to donate. Thank you!
