FHPWEF Mission Statement
The mission of the Federation of Houston Professional Women Educational Foundation (FHPWEF) is to award scholarships and gifts to aid and advance the education and knowledge of women in the community. FHPWEF was founded in 1993, and received tax exempt status 501(c)3 in 1994. As a charitable foundation FHPWEF is able to receive contributions from individuals, member organizations, gifts and special fund raisers.
The Foundation's Governing Board includes the current Federation President and President-Elect plus five other members. The five members are nominated by a committee consisting of the Foundation's current President, the Federation's current President and Immediate Past President. The Foundation's voting body is the Governing Board and the Federation's board of directors.
Federation members have several easy ways to contribute to the Foundation. They can use the FHPWEF Kroger Share card, the Randall's Good Neighbor Program using the code #1736 when they buy groceries and by adding a contribution to their reservation for quarterly meetings.
The Federation of Houston Professional Women Educational Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3, all volunteer organization. For information about FHPWEF contact Foundation President, Sheri L. Parrack at 713-957-4088 or preferably email to sheriparrack@tmtc2000.com.
